TOP MODELS, the band formed in Barcelona in 2002, is back in the game after two years of much deserved rest. Authors of three major records in the Spanish independent scene of the beginning of the century, inhabitants of a world of their own packed with ancestral blues, visceral rock and non-banal pop, their songs, their live shows, their recordings and their videos have been the perfect vehicle for songwriter-singer-guitar player Ricky Gil‘s bittersweet English-written lyrics, whose curriculum (Brighton 64-Matamala-Top Models) form a hell of a exciting career.

He is joined by spectacular drummer Pol Fontini, cofounder of the TOP MODELS and long-time companion; and two new members, talented keyboard woman and singer Agnès Monferrer, and legendary bass man Albert Gil, who finally rejoins his brother Ricky after a reasonable time of musical separation. Together they will perform the best songs of the band’s repertoire, as well as the new ones emerged from such fantastic experiences as the recent tours of Canada, United States, Brazil and Great Britain that the band undertook under the Maximum Ricky name.

These songs are included in TOP MODELS’ brand new fourth album, “WALL OF FAME”, released on March 2010, in vinyl and CD, in a Rock On-Bip Bip Records coproduction.
